Student Enrichment Opportunities

The Student Enrichment Opportunities (SEO) programs are designed to prepare students from underrepresented groups, including those from underrepresented ethnic groups (for example, African American, Native American, Hispanic/Latino, and Pacific Islander), first-generation students, those with disabilities, and low-income students for STEM careers by providing a stimulating research environment with academic and financial support.

Our Program Offerings

The Student Enrichment Opportunities (SEO) fellowships contribute to a student's scientific development through academic, professional, and financial support. Our programs include the following components:

Research * Colloquia * Conferences * Summer Activities * Computational Training * Financial Support * Mentorship Training

With our focus on hands-on high level research, professional development, and participation in national scholarly meetings, our students are well-positioned for success in PhD programs and professional biomedical careers.
