All scholars attend weekly colloquia focused on professional development and responsible conduct in research. The colloquia foster strong relationships within cohorts and provide opportunities for scholars to and receive feedback on CVs, resumes, and applications, as well as a setting for PhD and summer program recruitment events.
In our Colloquia, Freshmen learn about SFSU resources and research opportunities, Sophomores begin building their applications for the SEO Undergraduate Jr/Sr Fellowship, Juniors investigate extra-mural summer programs, and Seniors and MS2 scholars apply to PhD and PREP programs.
